Mariah Wade in Bristol, Tennessee

Mariah Wade play a two-part set in Bristol, Tennessee in August 2011 as part of their 'From Asheville to Nashville' tour of the States. We had the great pleasure of supporting James Meadows at the famous Country Music Mural outside the town's Downtown Centre to a wonderfully receptive audience. In this portion of the set the band play arrangements of traditional songs 'The Flower of Magherally O', 'Pretty Saro', and one of their own compostitions 'Silver Needle'. To see the second video in this performance see our video page.

Mariah Wade Posts a New Online Blog

Mariah Wade is beginning a new online blog. We're going to start with our journey this August through North Carolina and up to New York in our search for the roots of some of the music we play. Along the way we hope to share some of our own music with those we meet and see if they have their own versions of it. We'll also be playing at a few jams, singers' nights, concerts and gigs. We'll keep the 'Shows' page updated so do try and hook up with us if you can. You can read more here.
